FINGER LICKIN’ GOOD KID-FRIENDLY CHICKEN WINGS

Recipe Makes 10 Servings.

Nutritional Breakdown Per Serving: 279 calories, 10 grams carbohydrates, 36 grams protein, 9 grams fat.

Ingredients:

2 ¾ pound separated chicken wings

1/3 cup lemon juice

1/3 cup honey

1/3 cup water

2 tbsp. tamari soy sauce

2 tsp. garlic powder

2 ½ tbsp. apple cider vinegar

1 tsp. ground ginger

Directions:

Begin by bringing the lemon juice, the honey, the soy sauce, the water, the garlic, the vinegar, and the ginger together in a saucepan. Heat it over medium-high, stirring a bit. When it begins to simmer, turn the heat to low and allow it to simmer for five minutes before allowing it to cool.

Pour this mixture over the chicken wings. Allow the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for three hours.

Next, preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake the chicken wings for sixty minutes in the preheated oven, making sure to turn them over after thirty minutes.
